Answer:

Circadian rhythms help determine our sleep patterns. The body's master clock, or SCN, controls the production of melatonin, a hormone that makes you sleepy. It receives information about incoming light from the optic nerves, which relay information from the eyes to the brain.

Taya2010 [7]
Use binomial distribution with p=0.25, n=5, x=2
P(X=x)=C(n,x)p^x (1-p)^(n-x)

P(X=2)=C(5,2) 0.25^2 0.75^(5-2)
=10*0.0625*0.421875
=0.26367

So the probability of 2 of 5 children having type-O blood from these parents is 0.26367.

AleksandrR [38]

DNA polymerase III has a subunit for proofreading during DNA replication. As replication continues and the polymerase III enzyme detects a mismatched base pair, through a deformity in the double helix structure, the polymerase backs up, nicks the mismatched base and replaces it with the correct base before continuing replication.

The relationship between population growth and resources can be described as
Lina20 [59]

A

The relationship between population growth and resources is inverse; as one goes up the other goes down.

Explanation:

An inverse relationship is one where when one variable is affected positively, the other is negatively impacted, and vice versa. In other terms, when one variable increases the other decreases.

When population growth increases, the strain on the resources increases, due to increased competition, and hence the resources decrease. This is why ideally apopulation cannot grow indefinitely because resources are always limited. The population growth will start to levels off as it reaches carrying capacity. When the resources become depleted the population growth plummets.
