Hey there :D if you want to divide 56 into a 3:1 ratio you'll first have to divide it into 4 because 3+1=4

So then you go to find that it's 14 ;) there's your 1

So now to get the 3 you'll have to multiply 14 by 3 :) which is 42

Your ratio is 42: 14 :P Have a Brainly Day :)

What is the 87th term of the arithmetic sequence with this explicit formula
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:Step-by-step explanation:

If there is a sequence and if we are to find its 87th term we must have the general term formula for the sequence.

Normally for sequences which follow a pattern there will be a formula for nth term.

Example is arithmetic sequence nth term = a+(n-1)d where a is the I term and d the common difference.

Similarly for geometric sequence nth term

= is the nth term

Thus to find the 87th term, we must be able to find out the pattern of the sequence by which any term is related to its previous term

Either general term formula or recurring formula should be given to get the 87th term

Step-by-step explanation: is arithmetic sequence nth term = a+(n-1)d where a is the I term and d the common difference. Still stuck? Get 1-on-1 help from an expert tutor now.

Answer:

The ladder needs to be 26 ft long.

Step-by-step explanation:

So pythag is a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2}

We have the height and distance from the window, so we need to find c

10^{2}+24^{2}=c^{2}

100+576= 676

\sqrt{676} = 26

The perimeter of a triangle is 44 inches. If
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The sides are

6 inches, 8 inches and 10 inches

Explanation:

I'd suggest that the question should read 'The perimeter of a triangle is 24 inches. The longest side is 4 inches longer than the shortest side, and the shortest side is three-fourths the length of the middle side. How do you find the length of each side of the triangle?'

Then the shortest side is

6

and the longest side is

10

I hope this helps :)
