All the possibilities of two numbers cubes are
11 12 13 14 15 16
21 22 23 24 25 26
31 32 33 34 35 36
41 42 43 44 45 46
51 52 53 54 55 56
61 62 63 64 65 66
The probability that sum of the rolled cubes is less than 10 is
P = 6/36

The probability that the sum of the rolled cubes is a multiple of 3 is
P = 12/36

The conditional probability of B given that a occurs first is
P = 6/36 (12/36) = 1/18

Solve for X-4 1/6 = 9 1/3
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

  13 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

X-4 1/6 = 9 1/3

Add 4 1/6 to each side

X-4 1/6+ 4 1/6 = 9 1/3 + 4 1/6

x = 9 1/3 + 4 1/6

  = 9 2/6 + 4 1/6

   13 3/6

    13 1/2

Mariana [72]
Since Zack wants to sell his car for 60% off the current price of $500, he has to multiply 0.60 (60% in decimal form) by $500, which equals $300. Now, the next step is very important. He has to subtract $500 from $300 since $300 is the amount OFF. Once he does that, he will get $200.

How to you write the number 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
tresset_1 [31]
The way you wrote it is how you write it unless you want to do scientific notation then the answer would be, 5x10^30 because for it to be in scientific notation it has to be between 10 and 1 so I moved the decimal spot over 30 to get it into scientific notation. Hope this helps out.

The vertex of this parabola is at (3,-2). When the x-value is 4, the y-value is 3: (4,3) is a point on the parabola. Let's use the standard equation of a parabola in vertex form:

y-k = a(x-h)^2, where (h,k) is the vertex (here (3,-2)) and (x,y): (4,3) is another point on the parabola. Since (3,-2) is the lowest point of the parabola, and (4,3) is thus higher up, we know that the parabola opens up.

Substituting the given info into the equation y-k = a(x-h)^2, we get:

3-[-2] = a(4-3)^2, or 5 = a(1)^2. Thus, a = 5, and the equation of the parabola is

y+2 = 5(x-3)^2 The coefficient of the x^2 term is thus 5.
