Answer:

C. Different parts of the sun rotate at different rates.

Explanation:

The Sun rotates on its axis. The spin rate is different at different parts of it. This is because Sun is not a solid. It is a gas giant. Its energy  or radiation is all derived from thermonuclear reactions like the proton proton cycle and the Carbon Nitrogen cycle  that happen inside it.

Unless it is a solid object, something like the Earth, all parts of it cannot spin at the same rate.

If I get this wrong please don't judge:

C. Different parts of the sun rotate at different rates.

The sun isn't a solid, its a big ball of gas.

A liquid in a test tube has a curved surface such that the edges touching the glass are higher than the surface at the center. T
Temka [501]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

The cohesive forces of the liquid are greater than the adhesive forces hence the liquid is drawn inwards instead of spreading out. cohesion refers to the force of attraction between molecules of the same kind. it keeps molecules of the same kind together. It prevents the liquid from spreading out and wetting the glass hence the liquid will have a curved surface when in contact with the glass and this curved surface will be higher than the surface at the center. When the adhesive forces are greater, the curved surface will be lower than the surface at the center.

What step precedes the onset of hydrogen fusion in a star?
Andrew [12]
If it is about the hydrogen fusion in main sequence stars, where the temperature of the center or the core rises the same time as the mass does, which results of the PP process is domination the process  particularly in low masses. This is just one example of the step that percedes the onset of hydrogen fusion.

An electric potential at x = 0 cm is 300 V, -100 V at x = 5 cm, and varies linearly with x. If a positive charge is released fro
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

Moves to the right

Explanation:

Given:

- Right side @ x = 5 cm is at - 100 V

- Left side @ x = 0 cm is at 300 V

- Charge is placed @ x = 2.5 cm

Find:

- The direction of motion of + charge when released from its position.

Solution:

- We know that Electric field is always perpendicular to equi-potential lines. Hence it points out from the left side towards the right hand side. So the Electric field at the point of charge @ x = 2.5 cm, is directed towards the right that would also be the direction of motion of the positive charge.
