First, you multiply the denominator by the whole number. Next, you add the product to the numerator; the total will be your numerator to the improper fraction. Then, put the total sum/numerator over or on top of the denominator. This will give you your equivalent, improper fraction.
Ex.
2 2/5
5×2=10
10+2=12
Put 12 over/on top of 5
=12/5
12/5 is the equivalent improper fraction of 2 2/5

Ex 1  3/2

2 x 1 +3          5
------------  =   -----  =  2.5
     2               2

first denominator times whatever the whole number is then add that to the nominator than you have an improper fraction

because 3/2 = 1.5 then plus the whole number which is 1.0 = 2.5

Please help ^^^^^^^^

a= 4, 7, 15?
b= 7, 15, 4?
c= 15, 4, 7?
zysi [14]

Answer:

A is 15, B is 1, and c is 4!

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because 15 (rooted number) would be the main focus, and since the x (normally by the rooted number) doesn't have a label (like 2x, 3x, etc.) it will be one. Then, the 4 (last number) is c (since it is on the outside and is likely the divisor.

Good luck!

Negative one over two equals negative five over eighteen h
love history [14]

Answer:

the answer is h = 5 / 9.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is "negative one over two equals negative five over eighteen h"

It means -1 / 2 = -5 / 18h

Using cross multiplication method,

-1 * 18h = -5 * 2

-18h = -10

Cancelling negative signs from both sides,

18h = 10

Dividing both sides by 18,

h = 10 / 18

h = 5/ 9

Hence, the answer is h = 5 / 9.

If 5 + 6i is a root of the polynomial function f(x), which of the following must also be a root of f(x)?
kolezko [41]

Answer:

5-6i

Step-by-step explanation:

The complex conjugate root theorem states that if (a+bi) is a root, then (a-bi) must also be a root and vice versa.

We know that (5+6i) is a root.

Then by the above theorem, (5-6i) must also be a root.

Hence, our solution is (5-6i).
