Answer:

A reflection is an example of a transformation that takes a shape (called the pre-image) and flips it across a line (called the line of reflection) to create a new shape (called the image).

The most common lines of reflection are the x-axis, the y-axis, or the lines y=x or y=−x.

The x-axis,

Reflection across the x-axis: T_{x-axis} (3,2)→(3,−2)

i.e. for reflection across the x-axis the x-coordinate remains same and y-coordinate change to negative sign.

The y-axis

Reflection across the y-axis: T_{y-axis} (3,2)→(-3,2)

i.e. for reflection across the y-axis the y-coordinate remains same and x-coordinate change to negative sign.

The line y=x

Reflection across the line y=x: T_{y=x} (3,2)→(2,3)

For reflection across y=x the x and y value get interchanged.

The line y=−x.

Reflection across the line y=−x: T_{y=-x} (3,2)→(−2,−3)

For reflection across y=-x the x and y value get interchanged with opposite signs.

Answer:

350 points are possible

Step-by-step explanation:

You take 329 divided by 94% or .94 to get 350.

100% of 350 is 350

To double check, 94% of 350 is 329 & 6% of 350 is 21.  329 +21 = 350

Suppose you roll a six sided number cube one time. What is the probability of rolling a 3 or an even number
Vikki [24]
There are 3 even numbers: 2,4,6. If you add 3 there is 4. There is 6 possible outcomes 1,2,3,4,5,6. So the probability is 4/6, 2/3, 66.666....% or 0.6666666....

Jessica is selling tickets for her softball team for $10 a ticket. Laurie is selling tickets for her softball team for $6 a tick
Mkey [24]

Answer:

90 tickets

Step-by-step explanation:

let the number of tickets be x

and the total amount each has be y

For Jessica

the amount is

y=10x--------1

for Laurie the amount is

Note: she has $360 already

y=360+6x-------2

to find the number of the tickets that will make them have the same amount, let us equate 1 and 2

10x=360+6x

10x-6x=360

4x=360

x=360/4

x=90
