Employee motivation is directly connected to company success. If employees are not motivated, then productivity will decrease and projects will not be completed on time. The moral of employees is also very important because unmotivated employees will not desire to do their best work and are more likely to leave the company or break rules.

Unsatisfied needs may be harmful to an individual because they may look for satisfaction in areas they normally would not or in things that are harmful or could become habitual or addicting. I have personally seen this happen in relationships where a friend was unsatisfied and began seeking his needs outside his relationship.

Five ways a leader could motivate employees are through financial rewards, encouragement, extra time off, promotion, and gifts. A manager or leader could give one time bonuses or a pay raise to well performing employees and give them encouragement or congratulations in front of others. Additionally, they could offer extra paid time off, chance of promotion, or gifts such as tickets to an event as motivation for performing.

Calculate the slope of a line that passes through the points (6, -12) and (15, -3).
Stells [14]

Answer:

B. 1

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope is calculated by taking the difference in the y-coordinates of two points and dividing that by the difference in the x-coordinates of those two points.

Here, we have (6, -12) and (15, -3).

The difference in the y-coordinates is:

15 - 6 = 9

The difference in the x-coordinates is:

-3 - (-12) = -3 + 12 = 9

Divide 9 by 9:

9/9 = 1

The slope is thus 1, and the answer is B.
