Compassionate love is known as the type of love that is shown towards an individual through deep care, trust, affection and respect. It is the sharing of deep intimacy between two people which is slow to develop because it takes time. Thus, it is mutual feelings which exist between close friends who have been together for a long time, couples who have been married for years and so on.
There's no defined Primary mission, but really they're the replacement (along with NATO) to the League of Nations formed after WW1. The UN try to maintain world peace and stop terrorism. In many ways, you could call them a world police.
