Well, the 20 seconds gives us enough information to actually calculate the power she has on her feet :)
Well, the work is 500*15=7500J, that is 7.5 kJ or about 18 calories (1 cal is 418J?) The power is that 7.5 kJ divided by 20 seconds: 375W. That's... OK, I suppose...

If a bullet travels at 551.0 m/s, what is its speed in miles per hour?
77julia77 [94]
<span>First, convert meters into feet. One meter = 3.28 feet. Next, convert meters per second to feet per second. 551.0 m/s = 1,807.28 ft/sec. Now using the knowledge that 5280 ft = 1 mile and there are 3600 seconds in an hour; convert 1,807.28 ft/sec into miles per hour. The final answer to the question is 1,232.24 miles per hour.</span>

The voltage across a membrane forming a cell wall is 84.0 mV and the membrane is 9.40 nm thick. What is the electric field stren
Katarina [22]

Answer:

8.9*10^6 V/m

Explanation:

The expression for electric field strength E is given as

E=\frac{V}{d}

where V= voltage

           d= distance of separation

Given data

voltage= 84 mV= 84*10^-^3\\distance= 9.4*10^-^9

substituting our given data into the electric field strength formula we have

E= \frac{84*10^-^3}{ 9.4*10^-^9} \\\\E= \frac{84}{9.4} *10^-^3^-^(^-^9^)\\\\E= \frac{84}{9.4} *10^-^3^+^9\\\\E= \frac{84}{9.4} *10^6\\\\E=8.9*10^6  V/m

What's the dielectric constant of ceramic?<br> A. 1,200<br> B. 900<br> C. 80<br> D. 7.500
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

7.5

Explanation:

The dielectric constant of ceramics is about 7.5.

The dielectric constant of a substance is the ratio of the electric permeability of a substance to the electric permeability of free space.

Dielectric constant gives a good overview about the ability of substance to store charges compared to another.

Most substances have their electric constant and they suggest the ease by which they can store electrical energy. This is very important in developing capacitors.
