Answer:

The North's Strategy was an offensive one, the South's strategy was a defensive one.

Explanation:

The North's Strategy was different from the South's in the sense that the North , having more resources, opted for an offensive one, the goal was to win the war.

The South's Strategy was a defensive one, its objective to punish and repel invaders at every chance with little margin for error. The belief was that their more qualified generals and their strategy would make up for inferior resources and more limited manpower.

What is the difference between equity and equality in society? Give an example of each. State which you believe to be more desir
Salsk061 [2.6K]
Equality is giving everyone the same amount of something. Equity is giving those who are in need more of something in order to help them be equal with others. For example, an equalist will give everyone the same amount of food regardless of their size. An equitist, on the other hand, will give food in accordance to one's size. In my opinion, both have their pros and cons.

Know what culture is and how it impacts managers when working overseas—What is monochronic vs polychronic cultures? What is the
Brrunno [24]

Answer:

Culture is sum of the characteristics that defines the ways of working.

Explanation:

 • A culture is a learning outcome and is a product of sharing and rotation of the patterns of the society and can be demonstrated by the attitudes and the behaviors and the symbols.
 • A monochronic culture is one culture that is seen in the U.S, U.K, and Canada and the northern Europe and those of the Chinese and the middle east and the Arabic and those of the Africans are highly polychronic.
 • The Ethnocentrism is used as an art of judging one's culture and in believing that the values and the standards of one's own culture are much more superior and especially in terms of the language, the behavior, the customs, and the religion. They wouldn't trust foreign employees with key decisions
 • Polycentric is having to do with more than one center and the geocentric model is also considered to be in relation to the center of the earth. Polycentric managers, in the nationals of the host country, are taken by the subsidiary company.
