8 hours x $9 = $72

$380/12.5% = $47.50

$72 + $47.50 = $119.50

It is given Roberta makes 9$ an hour plus a 12.5% commission selling jewelry and she sells 380$ worth of jewelry in 8 hours.

Let the number of hours Roberta work be x hours .

Amount earned in x hours shift =9* x + 12.5% of the amount of jewelry sold.

Number of hours worked by Roberta if 9 hours and Jewelry worth 380$ is sold by her .

Substituting these values in the above equation :

Amount earned in 8 hours shift= 9 *8+12.5% 0f 380

= 72+0.125 *380 ( 12.5%=0.125)

=72+47.5

=119.5

Amount earned by Roberta in 8 hours is 119.5$

.

A. False:

Area= \frac12 \times base \times height .... if the base is 4 times bigger and the height is 4 times bigger .... the area will be 16 times bigger

B. True .... you just add all sides, each is 4 times bigger

C. False ... by definition of dilation, the sides grew

D. True... Size changed, but the shape stayed the same (so, did the angles)

Planes Q and R intersect. Lines d and c are vertical on plane R and form a right angle with line B on plane Q. Line B is horizon
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

C. line d

Step-by-step explanation:

Two parallel lines are lines that do not meet even with continuous extension of their length. While two lines are perpendicular when they form a right angle to each other at the point where they meet.

In the given question, the only figure that would be parallel to line c is line d. Line a is not parallel to line c (since it is slightly diagonal, it would intersect line c at a point) and line B is perpendicular to line c (since it is horizontal to plane Q), same as plane Q. So that lines c and d are parallel to each other.
