Co-dominate is where both dominant traits of each parent show in the offspring. For example, if a Rose that was dominant for white color breeds with a Rose that was dominant for pink color. Their offsprings would share both dominant traits resulting of them being pink and white.

How are stem cells used to repair the central nervous system
Tju [1.3M]
Hello,

Your answer would be:

Stem cells come from an early embryo and these are divided into three types which are Embryonic stem cells, tissue stem cells and Induced pluripotent stem cells, or ‘reprogrammed’ stem cells. Currently, stem cells are being used in the laboratory for clinical trials to provide new therapies and other possible ways for treatments for certain diseases. Hope this answer helps.

Here’s the answer to your question would be:

They replace old neurons with new ones.

Here’s a article from the internet:

“Today, most treatments for damage to the brain or spinal cord aim to relieve symptoms and limit further damage. But recent research into the regeneration mechanisms of the central nervous system, including the discovery of stem cells in the adult brain that can give rise to new neurons and neural support cells, has raised hopes that researchers can find ways to actually repair central nervous system damage. Research on stem cells in nervous system disorders is one of the few areas in which there is evidence that cell-replacement therapy can restore lost function.”

Hope this helps! They also treat disorders

Nutka1998 [239]

Answer: Blood to kidney excretory tubes,

- Air tubes to blood

- Blood to air tubes.

The body contains several internal exchange systems. In the kidney, metabolic wastes move from BLOOD to KIDNEY EXCRETORY TUBES. In the lung, oxygen moves from AIR TUBES to BLOOD, while carbon dioxide moves from BLOOD to AIR TUBES.

Explanation: In the kidney, metabolic wastes move from the blood to the kidney excretory tubes via the affarent arteriole into the glomerulus of the bowman's capsule from where there will be ultrafiltration of the wastes from the blood will take place followed by selective reabsorption and tubular secretion inorder for urine to be formed.

In the lungs, oxygen moves from the air tubes which are the bronchial tubes then to the alveoli where gaseous exchange takes place then the oxygen moves to the blood. While carbondioxide moves from the blood to the air tubes from where there is exchange of gases then the carbondioxide is exhaled/expired from the lungs.
