we have

f(x)=(x-3)^{2}(x+2)^{2}(x-1)

we know that

The zero of the function is  the value of x when the value of the function is equal to zero

f(x)=(x-3)^{2}(x+2)^{2}(x-1)

rewrite the function

f(x)=(x-3)(x-3)(x+2)(x+2)(x-1)

The zero's of the function are

x=3\ x=3\ x=-2\ x=-2\ x=1

so

x=3 ------> has a multiplicity of 2

x=-2 ------> has a multiplicity of 2

x=1 ------> has a multiplicity of 1

therefore

<u>the answer is</u>

The zero 1 has a multiplicity of 1

The zero -2 has a multiplicity of 2

The zero 1 has a multiplicity of 1.

The zero -2 has a multiplicity of 2.

Hope this clears up any confusion :)

Suppose the linear regression line y=2.1x+130 predicts sales based on the money spent on advertising. If x represents the dollar
slega [8]

Linear regression line y=2.1x+130 predicts sales based on the money spent on advertising.

Linear regression represents the relationship between two variables. the value of y depends on the value of x.

x represents the dollars spent in advertising and y represents the company sales in dollars.

We need to find out sales y when $150 spends on advertising.

Plug in 150 for x and find out y

y = 2.1 x + 130

y = 2.1 (150) + 130

y= 445

The company expects $445 in sales

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Rationalize the denominator of b. So, multiply the numerator and denominator by \sqrt{x}

b = \frac{(1-2\sqrt{x}) *\sqrt{x}}{\sqrt{x}*\sqrt{x}  }=\frac{1*\sqrt{x} -2\sqrt{x} *\sqrt{x} }{\sqrt{x} *\sqrt{x} }\\\\=\frac{\sqrt{x} -2x}{x}\\

Now, find a +b

a +b = \frac{2x+\sqrt{x} }{x}+\frac{\sqrt{x} -2x}{x}\\\\=\frac{2x+\sqrt{x} +\sqrt{x} -2x}{x}

Combine like terms

= \frac{2x-2x+\sqrt{x} +\sqrt{x} }{x}\\\\=\frac{2\sqrt{x} }{x}

Now find (a + b)²

(a +b)² = (\frac{2\sqrt{x} }{x})^{2}

          = \frac{2^{2}*(\sqrt{x} )^{2}}{x^{2}}\\\\= \frac{4* x}{x^{2}}\\\\= \frac{4}{x}

Hint: \sqrt{x} *\sqrt{x}  =\sqrt{x*x}=x

Please help me on this question and explain your answer thanks
Arte-miy333 [17]
Each variable used is the first letter of each of their names.

t+b+c=87
c=2t
b=t+7

Substitute for b and c
t+ (t+7)+2t= 87
4t+7=87
4t=80
t=20

Plug in the known t value.
c=2(20)
c=40

b=20+7
b=27

Final answer: Tammy=$20, Boris= $27, Carlos=$40

A=20 find the volume round to the nearest 10th
lianna [129]
Are you sure there weren't any other numbers in the problem? You can't solve for the volume with out at least two numbers for length, width, or height. Or are you solving for a cube?
