5.46 ÷ 0.006 =
= 5 46/100 ÷ 6/1000 =
= 5 23/50 ÷ 3/500 =
= 273/50 * 500/3 =
= 273/1 * 10/3 =
= 273 * 10/3 =
= 2730 / 3 =

5.46 ÷ 0.006

Now, multiply both the numerator and denominator by 1000. we do this to get a whole number in denominator so that it is easier to solve.

= 5460 ÷ 6
= 910

So, the required quotient is 910
