79. Set up an equation to solve this problem. Suppose she needs at least a score of x points. Her current total scores is 89+65+68+88=310. Her total score will be 310+2x (since final exams counts as two tests). The average score is total points divided by number of tests, and it has be bigger or equal to 78, so (310+2x)/6>=78. We solve it and get x=79. She has to score at least 79 on her final exam in order to jhave an overall average of 78.

% slope  = m
slope = {{ m}}= \cfrac{rise}{run} \implies \cfrac{7}{2}
\\\\\\
% point-slope intercept
\stackrel{\textit{point-slope form}}{y-{{ y_1}}={{ m}}(x-{{ x_1}})}\implies y-7=\cfrac{7}{2}(x-5)\implies y-7=\cfrac{7}{2}x-\cfrac{35}{2}

y=\cfrac{7}{2}x-\cfrac{35}{2}+7\implies \stackrel{standard~form}{-\cfrac{7}{2}x+y=-\cfrac{21}{2}}
