So I like to think of questions like these reversing everything and unravelling the Answer

The first step you'd do in this question is add the two to both sides since it doesn't have a number attached to it
This will minus the -2 from the left hand side and add it to the right hand side so now your question will look like this:
-3r=21
Got it?
Okay
so now that's done divide the -3 on both sides so 21 divided by -3
so now your Answer will look like this:
r=-7
hehehe sorry about that no wonder I'm generally bad at Maths, I get confused X3

Answer:

75/256 in³    <    64/125 in³

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find the volumes of the two 3-D figures:

For Figure 1:

Using the volume formula:

V = l × w × h

   = 6/8 × 5/8 × 5/8

   = (6/8 × 5/8) × 5/8

   = 30/64 × 5/8

V = 150/512

Simplify:

V = 75/256

So Figure 1's volume is 75/256 in³.

For Figure 2:

V = l × w × h

   = 4/5 × 4/5 × 4/5

   = (4/5 × 4/5) × 4/5

   = 16/25 × 4/5

   = 64/125

So Figure 2's volume is 64/125 in³.

Now, comparing the two volumes:

You can cross multiply the fractions to figure out which fraction is greater:

Figure 1                       Figure 2

75                 =                 64

256                                  125

75 (125)          =             256 (64)

9375               =             16384

So Figure 2 has the greater volume.

Your final result should be:

75/256 in³    <    64/125 in³

Researchers estimate that 15 out of every 25 customers at a store make purchases with a credit card. If the store has 600 custom
monitta

Answer:

360

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of customers who make purchases with a credit card

=15 out of every 25= \frac{15}{25}=\frac{3}{5}

The fraction 3/5 represents the part of the customer that makes purchases with credit cards.

Therefore if there are 600 customers tomorrow, 3/5 of them will use a credit card.

\frac{3}{5} X 600=360

360 credit card can be expected.
