Answer:the reason is that the heating or cooling capacity of water is much less as compared to land

Explanation:

Coastal area are riverine areas, areas close to rivers,seas or ocean.

Non coastal area are areas not close to the river,they are far from the water body

Coastal area have less variation in temperature because the heating or cooling capacity of water is much less as compared to land

Use the concept of feilds to describe how forces can act from a distance
o-na [289]
There are other forces that act at a distance, including gravity and static electricity. The force of magnetism is related to electricity. In fact, magnetism is the result of a moving electric charge. You may be familiar with magnets attracting, or pulling, metal objects toward them.

In science, a broad idea that has been repeatedly verified so as to give scientists great confidence that it represents reality
Colt1911 [192]

In science, a broad idea that has been repeatedly verified so as to give scientists great confidence that it represents reality is called "a theory".

Explanation:

In science, the interpretation of a feature of the organic world that can be tested in repeat manner and analysed by applying agreed tests validation methods, calculation and observation in according to the scientific method, such process is called as a theory in science.

The difference lie between a theory and a hypothesis. Because hypothesis is an "educated guess". Overall it is either a proposed interpretation of an observed phenomenon, or a logical inference of a possible causal association between several phenomena.

Suppose you have an unknown clear substance immersed in water, and you wish to identify it by finding its index of refraction. Y
jek_recluse [69]

When light passes from one medium to another at an angle, it may refract, or bend, according to Snell's law:

n₁sin(θ₁) = n₂sin(θ₂)

n₁ = index of first medium, θ₁ = angle of incidence, n₂ = index of second medium, θ₂ = angle of refraction

Given values:

n₁ = 1.33 (water), θ₁ = 45.0°, θ₂ = 40.3°

Plug in and solve for n₂:

1.33sin(45.0°) = n₂sin(40.3°)

n₂ = 1.454

I looked up this value on the HyperPhysics indices of refraction table... The index we calculated is closest to 1.46, which is that of fused quartz.
