I took the fractions and multiplied them by how many x's there were next to it ( I did that for all of them) I added it all up and got 4 so then I divided it by the total number of x's there were and got 4/14 x's

The percent yield is calculated by dividing the actual yield by the theoretical yield times 100. True False
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

True

Step-by-step explanation:

Correct.

For example.

Suppose the actual yield is of 80 and the theoretical yield is of 100. We want to, for example, know the percentage of the yield. First we divide 80 by 100, which is 0.8, a decimal value. To write as a percentage, we multiply it by 100.

So the correct answer is:

True

There are 13 bagels in a baker's dozen. Hillary,Mark, and Tam share the bagels equally. Will each friend get more than or fewer
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

Each friend will get more than 4 whole bagels.

Step-by-step explanation:

First off, although the question asks for 13 bagels divided between 3 friends, let's use a number that results in a whole number when divided by 3, but is close to 13.

This number can be 12.

12 divided by 3 is 4, so each friend gets 4 bagels if there are a total of 12 bagels.

However, there are more than 12 bagels so we know that each of the the 3 friends will get more than 4 bagels each.
