Let's say you biked as fast as you can at 17.6. 2 hrs later, you would have bike for 2*17.6 miles=35.2 miles. (d=rt) That means that your distance can be no greater than 35.2 and it can be no less than 0 because you can't bike a negative distance like -5 miles. So your inequality would be 0≤ d ≤35.2 where your d is distance

Total no. of hours you spent biking = 2 hours
the speed at which you rode your bike ≤ 17.6 mph
Now,
We have,
speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

17.6 =  \frac{distance}{2}

17.6 *2=  distance

35.2=distance

So, you for given conditions, you can't travel more then 35.3 miles

So, the inequality for the given circumstances is:
x ≤ 35.2

Based on the order of operations, which shows the first step in simplifying this expression? 16/2+6(7+4x5)
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

\frac{16}{2}  + 6(7 + 20)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expresion is:

\frac{16}{2}  + 6(7 + 4 \times 5)

We want to find the first step in simplifying the above expression based on order of operations.

We use PEDMAS, so we deal with parenthesis first.

Within the parenthesis, we still need to multiply first to get:

\frac{16}{2}  + 6(7 + 20)
