In normal e. Coli cells, in which the lac operon is "on," which combination of c r p and lac repressor proteins is bound to the
Alex17521 [72]

Only CPR is bound to lac operon

What is lac operon?

For the transportation and metabolism of lactose, the E. coli operon known as Lac Operon is necessary.

Lac operon operation is explicable as follows:

E.coli has the genes necessary for lactose metabolism, and they are located in the lac operon. Lactose does not prevent the gene from being expressed.

According to the lactose and glucose levels, the regulators' "on" and "off" states are put to use. Both catabolite activator protein and lac repressor are regulators. As a lactose sensor, the lac repressor typically prevents the operon from being transcribed when lactose is not present. An operon's transcription is activated when the glucose level is low by the glucose sensor catabolite activate protein. An operon called Lac Operon is present in E. coli and is necessary for the operon to have genes involved in metabolism. Only when lactose is present and glucose is absent do the genes come into play. Catabolite activator protein and lac repressor are the two proteins that control how much glucose and lactose is present in the body. The operon's transcription is prevented by the lac repressor.

In normal e. Coli cells, lac operon is "on," CPR combination of c r p and lac repressor proteins is bound to the lac operon

What might happen to a person whose nervous sand endocrine systems fail to maintain homeostasis?
3241004551 [841]
A failure of homeostasis -- the balance of essential physiological states -- means disaster for the organism. Failure to maintain body temperature leads to hypothermia or heatstroke. Failure to maintain energy balance can result in obesity and diabetes. Failure to maintain calcium balance in the blood leads to hypocalcemia or hypercalcemia. Failure to maintain water balance results in dehydration or hyperhydration.

One subcortical area that undergoes substantial neuron loss during aging is the ______.
tigry1 [53]

Answer:

Basal forebrain region.

Explanation:

Aging is the natural process of getting older and all organisms has to undergo the process of aging. The shortening in the telomere length and reactive oxygen species is involved in the aging process.

The biochemical changes of the body get slows down and individual has low energy stored in their body. The neuron loss is common that result in the loss of memorizing power with aging. The neurons of the basal forebrain region gets destroyed during the aging process.

Thus, the answer is basal forebrain region.
