Answer:

False

Explanation:

Frederick William II was the King of Prussia who established religious policies that went directly against the Enlightenment and intended to restore traditional Protestantism. He did not persecute the Protestants (he was a Protestant), but he had a very strong attachment to orthodoxy, so what he did was to prevent evangelical priests from teaching anything beyond what was in the official booklet, and proclaiming the need to protect the Christian religion against the Enlightenment and subject schools under the supervision of orthodox clerics.

Which physical feature would make the journey from Babylon to Jerusalem a difficult task
aniked [119]

The space between Babylon and Jerusalem is a very inhospitable one. Everything is covered with desert, the Syrian Desert to be more specific. It is a very dry, very hot area, with very little water only on few spots. There are sand storms that are very dangerous. This makes this area very dangerous for traveling, so the people mostly avoided traveling through it in order to not end up lost or dead in it. The travelling between these two cities was very limited, and it was mostly done either by circling around this desert, or through very well organized expeditions.

77julia77 [94]

Answer: it provided 6,400 acres of land for each mile of track laid.

The Pacific Railroad Act was a law which primary objective was to create a transcontinental railroad.  To accomplish this, railroads companies were given <em>government bonds</em> as well as <em>grants of land</em> to work with.

Sections 2 and 3 of the Act, established the acquisition of rights of way, to the Company that laid the tracks.

The first one, conceded <em>both the rail itself and 200 ft of public land away from it, for each side.</em> The second one, <em>added 10 square miles to the prior,</em> whenever the rails were not crossing rivers or went through cities.

This was specified in the Act with the <u>following phrase:</u> <em>"five alternate sections per mile on each side of said railroad, on the line thereof, and within the limits of ten miles on each side"</em>.

On the other hand, loans from $16000 per mile of flat prairie railroad were authorized up to $48000 when companies worked in a mountain.
