Sounds like a physics problem

basically we can simlpify it to this:
we toss something straight up with initial velocity 10ft/sec, assuming gravity kicks in, what is max height?

we can use the kinematic equation v_{f}^2=v_{0}^2+2ad
v_f is final velocity
v_0 is initial velocity
a is acceleration due to gravity
d=distance traveled

if we say he tosses it straight up then when it  reaches max height, v_f=0
and v_0=10 \frac{ft}{s}

and we know that a=-32.174 \frac{ft}{s^2}

so solving for d

<span>v_{f}^2=v_{0}^2+2ad
</span><span>v_{f}^2-v_{0}^2=2ad
</span><span>\frac{v_{f}^2-v_{0}^2}{2a}=d
plug the numbers in
</span>
\frac{(0)^2-(10 \frac{ft}{s})^2}{2(-32.174 \frac{ft}{s^2})}=d
1.5540498539193137315845092310561 ft=d

we add that to the initial 6ft
so total of 7.5540498539193137315845092310561 ft max height
about 7.6ft

Given options : Two intersecting circles are drawn with a radius in each marked. the image will be linked.

Given options : An equilateral triangle inscribed in a circle

A square inscribed in a circle

A regular pentagon inscribed in a circle

A regular hexagon inscribed in a circle.

<u>Note. When we join an intersection point of two circles and centers of the circles it would form an equilateral triangle that would be inscribe inside a common portion of both circles..</u>

Therefore, an equilateral triangle inscribed in a circle would be correct option.

She is completing an equilateral triangle inscribed in a circle.

The graph shows the number of books Rahul read, y, compared with the number of books Maggie read, x, over the summer.
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

D. y=2x(4×2)

Step-by-step explanation:

y=8 and x=4 and they are asking about the books that Maggie read how they the books re equal to the ones Rahul read. so y will be equal to x times 2 which is also x+x.

Hope I helped!
