Answer is: B. Heat transfers to his body from the water by conduction.

Thermal conductuction is the transfer of heat through physical contact. Thermal conduction is the transfer of heat by microscopic collisions of particles.

Heat spontaneously flows from a hotter (in this example water) to a colder body (in this example human body).

The process of heat conduction depends on four basic factors: the temperature gradient, the cross section of the materials involved, their path length and the properties of those materials.

Demonstrate your knowledge of waves.Describe the difference between mechanical and electromagnetic waves. Give an example of eac
4vir4ik [10]

There are some methods that differentiate waves; one thing is by its medium. Electromagnetic waves did not require a medium for transmission such as in a vacuum while mechanical waves require a medium to travel such as air, water or anything that can serve as a transmission aid.

The most common sample of EM waves in telecommunication is radio, light and infra-red signals. An example of a mechanical wave is a sound wave, which requires air to travel. Oscillating molecules made the sound waves.

The number of ATP molecules produced during the anaerobic phase of cellular respiration is _______
Natalija [7]

Answer:

The number of ATP molecules produced during the anaerobic phase of cellular respiration is 32 ATP.

Explanation:

Actually it's 36 ATP

8 from glycolysis

6 from pyruvate

24 from Krebs cycle

So total are 38 ATP but 2 ATP are consumed during glycolysis so total will be 36.

When 15 grams of copper (II) chloride (CuCl2) reacts with 20 grams of sodium nitrate (NaNO3), 11.3 grams of sodium chloride (NaC
julsineya [31]
The percent yield of the NaCl is 32.2% since the total CuCl2 is 15 grams and the NaNO3 is 20 grams then 11.3/35 grams yields 32.2 % of NaCl. It is not known how much Cu(NO3)2 will form from this reaction since this figure is not given.

Use the following information to answer Q1-Q3
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

Likely the reason behind carrying them in liquid for is to condense them. liquid takes up far less space than gases do and will last far longer. they can be transformed back into gases through heating them back up. To keep them solid would require frigid temperatures but liquid will transfer more easily through space.
