Time for the Order of Operations!
PEMDAS, its easy dont worry!
P for Parenthesis
E for Exponents
M/D for Multiplication/Division
A/S for Addition/Subtraction
we should always follow the order of operations!

(3+3)+6÷3+6
1st step: We've got parenthesis:
             (3+3)=(6) done
2nd step: Check for exponents, Looks like we dont have them!
3rd step: M/D? no multiplication, But we do have division.
              (6)+6 ÷ 3 + 6
               6 + 2 + 6
4th and last step: Finally, we are going to end this!
                            A/S? Yes!!!! Addition, No Subtraction!
                            6 + 2 + 6 = 14

Final Answer: 14

To know what to do first in a math problem we look to order of operations... PEMDAS stands for parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. So to begin we look for parentheses... do we have any? Why, yes, yes we do. Let's work!

(3+3) + 6 / 3 + 6 =

Add 3+3 in the parentheses. Since there is nothing else, the parentheses can go away.

6 + 6 / 3 + 6 =

Now, any exponents? Nope... Multiplication? Nope... division? Yes! Let's go!

6 + 2 + 6 =

Now all we have left is addition... Go for it!

8 + 6 = 14

Done!

elixir [45]

Answer:

0.8686 or 86.86 %

0.2148 or 21.48 %

Step-by-step explanation:

In z table the value of z > - 1,12 is 0.1314 (value from the z point to the left of the curve ) then 1 - 01314 will be value from z point to the right

Again from z table we get for z = - 0.79 the value 0.2148 s the vale from the point up to the left tail

HELP ASAP
Natalija [7]

Answer:

The equation of the function: y = mx + b

  • m = slope = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁) = [5 - (-3)]/(4 - 0) = (5 + 3)/4 = 8/4 = 2
  • b = y-intercept = -3

Therefore, the equation is f(x) = 2x - 3

When x = 0, f(x) = 2(0) - 3 = -3

When x increases by 1, f(x) increases by 2 (slope = the rate of change)

What is -4 the square root of 12 + the square root of 75 in simplist radical form?
Fofino [41]

Answer:

The simplest radical form of this mathematical expression is - 3√3

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's write in a mathematical expression the information given:

-4 the square root of 12 + the square root of 75

-4 (√12) + √75

-4 (√4 * 3) + (√25 * 3) (12 = 4 * 3 and 75 = 25 * 3)

-4 (2 √3) + 5 √3

-8 √3 + 5√3

- 3 √3

The result is- 3 square root of 3.

The simplest radical form of this mathematical expression is - 3√3

Sonja [21]
How many girls like sports? well, what's 2/5 of 1200? well, is just their product, 2/5 * 1200.

how many boys like sports? well, what's 3/5 of 1200? 3/5 * 1200.
