How does the number of Electoral College votes a presidential candidate has compare to the number of popular votes a presidentia

l candidate has? Sometimes the Electoral College votes do not reflect the popular vote. It's the number of Electoral College votes that determines who is elected president. The Electoral College votes are calculated using the popular vote. So the candidate who is elected president will have the most votes in both categories. The president is elected based on the popular vote, or number of people who voted. The Electoral College votes only matter if there is a tie between candidates. The popular vote determines who will be president. The Electoral College votes determine whether the Democratic or Republican party will have the most influence in government.

Kinds of government are differentiated by their power structures, by their ideological approaches, by the categories of people who hold power in that system. Governments are characterized by these qualities, and in turn, the lives and rights of the citizens inhabiting those states are profoundly impacted by those methods and structures of power.

Though governments can be divided into categories a few ways, there are significant individual variations. There are, however, core characteristics that make up some of the most important broad distinctions among them.

laila [671]

Answer:

The correct answer is 1. A communist covernment.

Explanation:

Communism is a political, economic and social system that proposes the creation of a society without economic classes, private property or economic production from the private sector. Thus, it proposes that the means of production be common to the whole society, being managed by the government and not by individuals. In addition, it advocates the elimination of the concept of money as a means of exchange, to be based on the redistribution of production in an equitable manner based on the needs of each individual by the government.

You are in a ship in deep water offshore from a large island. There is a heavy swell from the northeast and the island is to the
loris [4]

Answer:

Swim toward the island; the waves aren't going to take you anywhere

Explanation:

A swell in the ocean or in water is a series of waves that are caused by the wind currents across the water surface. It needs a large surface of water to develop a swell. It propagates at the interface between the air and the water surface.

A swell is formed by the wind strength over time and distance.

In the given context, when the ship capsizes because of the swell coming from the northeast direction and there is a island at the southwest direction, I quickly need to swim towards the island because the waves will not carry me to the island instead it will force me deep into the ocean beneath its strong waves. Therefore, I need to swim towards the island as fast as possible.

Hence the answer is ---

Swim toward the island; the waves aren't going to take you anywhere

How did the Supreme Court rule in cases involving the free exercise clauses cases
Kazeer [188]

Answer: The Free Exercise Clause accompanies the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Free exercise is the liberty of persons to reach, hold, practice and change beliefs freely according to the dictates of conscience. The Free Exercise Clause prohibits government interference with religious belief and, within limits, religious practice. To accept any creed or the practice of any form of worship can't be compelled by laws, because, as stated by the Supreme Court in Braunfeld v. Brown, the freedom to hold religious beliefs and opinions is absolute. Federal or state legislation can't therefore make it a crime to hold any religious belief or opinion due to the Free Exercise Clause. Legislation by the United States or any constituent state of the United States which forces anyone to embrace any religious belief or to say or believe anything in conflict with his religious tenets is also barred by the Free Exercise Clause.
