Yes, there is a massive planet 170 light-years away that is 2.5 times greater than the sun (there currently is no proof but there could be a planet bigger than our sun).

The sun is a star, not a planet. Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system. :)

A tank holds a 1.44-m thick layer of oil that floats on a 0.98-m thick layer of brine. Both liquids are clear and do not intermi
denpristay [2]

Answer:

Angle of ray makes with the vertical is 62.1 degree

Explanation:

As per the ray diagram we know that the angle of incidence on oil brine interface will be given as

tan\theta_i = \frac{0.7}{0.98}

\theta_i = 35.5^0

now by Snell'a law at that interface we have

\mu_1 sin\theta_i = \mu_2 sin \theta_r

now we will have

1.52 sin35.5 = 1.40 sin\theta_r

\theta_r = 39.12^0

now this is the angle of incidence for oil air interface

so now again by Snell's law we will have

\mu_2 sin\theta_i' = \mu_{air} sin\theta

1.40 sin39.12 = 1 sin\theta

\theta = 62.1^0

Which of the following statements about insulating materials is correct?a.Insulators can be used to increase the amount of curre
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

a.Insulators can be used to increase the amount of current that can flow through a resistor without increasing its temperature.

Explanation:

A conductor has low resistance, while an insulator has much higher resistance. Devices called resistors control amounts of resistance into an electrical circuits. Electric charges inside an insulator are bound to the individual atoms or molecules, not being able to move inside the material.

When you turn up the resistance, the electric current flowing through the circuit is reduced

Ohm's law:

V = I * R

R = V/I

An Ohmic conductor would have a linear relationship between the current and the voltage. With non-Ohmic conductors, the relationship is not linear. Most metals are good conductors example silver, copper etc.

Explain why dissolving is a physical change
zloy xaker [14]
Because the kinetic energy start to decrease, for example if we put sugar in a high temperature tea and we shake it what will happen to the sugar will the kinetic energy increase or decrease, it will probably decrease, just like us the people when we enter a cold room and we have a hot temp.

V = d/t please help with my physics question!
Assoli18 [71]

Answer:

313, 0.60 s

Explanation:

wavelength

= speed/frequency

= 340/520

= 0.6538 m

Number of wavelengths

= 205/0.6538

= 313 (whole number)

Time delay

= distance/speed

= 204/340

= 0.60 s
