The answer is 14.5 because :

2 times 2?5 = 5 so the denominator must have the same done, so 7.5 x 2.5 is 17.5. Subtract 3 from 7.5 and you get 14 .5 . So, m+ 14.5

Hello!!
So here we just need to solve for m.

2/7=5/(m+3)

First multiply both sides by 7 to move the 7 from the LHS to the RHS so now we have

2=35/m+3 now let’s multiply both sides by m+3 to get rid of fractions and get a linear relationship. So we now have

2m+6=35 do now subtracting 6 from both sides we have

2m=29 and last step!! Divide by 2 in both sides and we get m alone! So now we have

m= 29/2= 18.5

Any questions please feel free to ask!! Thank you!!!

Which statement describes whether a right triangle can be formed using one side length from each of these squares?
balu736 [363]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the given squares are

Area = 64 in

Area = 225 in

Area = 289 in

The length of each side of a square is determined by finding the square root of its area. For the first square, the length of its side is √64 = 8inches. For the second square, the length of its side is √225 = 15inches. For the third square, the length of its side is √289 = 17inches.

For a right angle triangle to be formed, Pythagorean theorem must be obeyed. Sum of the square of the smaller sides must equal the square of the longer side. Therefore,

8² + 15² = 17²

289 = 289

Therefore, the correct statement is

Yes, a right triangle can be formed because the sum of the areas of the two smaller squares equals the area of the largest square
