Human activity has increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide not only remains in the air, but

also enters into the oceans. Explain how the increased level of carbon dioxide in the ocean water has the potential to affect biodiversity. Then, predict what would happen to ocean ecosystems as a result of this loss.

Answer:

The enhanced level of carbon dioxide in the ocean can turn the pH of the seawater more acidic. As the water in the ocean becomes more acidic the calcium carbonate shells, which is a component of various species starts to dissolve.

The majority of these species are the secondary or the primary producers, thus, the base of the food web would start declining in the biodiversity. Thus, if the base of the food web began to decline, the animals found further in the food web also gets affected, thus, reducing the biodiversity of the ocean in complete.

There are tons of answers you could have.
One, for example:
Increased levels of CO2 decreases DO levels in the water and suffocates organisms, leading to population drops that can cause a genetic bottle neck effect, thus decreasing overall biodiversity. This could lead to extinction

Answer:

coevolution

Explanation:

Coevolution refers to the process where two or more species modify each other's evolution via natural selection. Darwin mentioned how insects and flowering plants could coevolve by reciprocal evolutionary modifications. Coevolution has firstly been associated with mutualism between species including, for example, birds and flowering plants. However, coevolution may also involve host-parasite relationships, such as associations involving parasitic organisms and their sexually reproducing hosts. Finally, there are situations where coevolution involves both parasitism and mutualism (i.e., antagonistic coevolution).
