Answer:

16 friends

Step-by-step explanation:

Right at the beginning, you can take the 2 chocolates Jack was left with out of the 50 chocolates Jack had at the beginning. That equals 48 chocolate bars, so we know that Jack gave his friends a total if 48 chocolates

50 - 2 = 48

Now that you have the number 48, you are really close to the answer.

If you know that he gave each if his friends 3 chocolates, you can make that into an equation and put it into a calculator. That would look like this:

48 \div 3 = 16

The reason you do 48 ÷ 3 is because Jack divided his 48 chocolates into groups of 3 to give to each of the other kids.

You get the answer 16, which means the answer is 16 kids at his friend's birthday party.

If M∠ ABD =64 and M∠CBD=30 then M∠ABC= <br> Need help
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

\displaystyle m\angle ABC = 34^\circ

Step-by-step explanation:

∠ABD is the sum of the angles ∠ABC and ∠CBD. In other words:

\displaystyle m\angle ABD = m\angle ABC + m\angle CBD

Substitute in known values:

\displaystyle \left(64^\circ\right) = m\angle ABC + \left(30^\circ\right)

And subtract. Hence:

\displaystyle m\angle ABC = 34^\circ

In conclusion, ∠ABC measures 34°.

Yuri surveyed a random sample of 75 students in his school about their favorite color. Of the students surveyed, 49 chose lavend
anastassius [24]

Answer:

600

Step-by-step explanation:

Take the number that answered lavender and divide by total # of students surveyed

49/75 = .653333 or 65.3%

then take the total # of students and multiply by .6533333

908x .6533333 = 593.22

so the closest estimate is 600
