\sqrt{8} + 3 \sqrt{32} - \sqrt{50}

= \sqrt{4 \times 2} + 3 \sqrt{16 \times 2} - \sqrt{25 \times 2}

= 2\sqrt{ 2} + 12 \sqrt{2} - 5\sqrt{  2}

= 9\sqrt{ 2}

I need help can I have how to do it and some work so I can do it.
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

(-1,-2) OR x = -1 and y = -2

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 3x + 1

y = -x -3

so you would first multiply everything on y = -x -3 by 3 and get 3y = -3x -9

so then you would add 3y = -3x -9 to y = 3x + 1 (<u> to eliminate the x</u> )which would be 4y = -8 then divide by 4 and get  <u><em>y = -2</em></u>

then you plug in y = -2 into any one of the equations but to make it easier i am going to plug it into y = -x -3 so now it would be -2 = -x - 3 then, add 2 to both sides which would be 0 = -x -1 then add 1 to both side 1 = -x then multiply both sides by -1 and get <u><em>x = -1</em></u>

<u><em>SO your answer would be </em></u> (-1,-2) OR x = -1 and y = -2 ( both of them are correct but it depends on what the teacher taught you)

The graph of f(x) = 2x + 1 is shown below. Explain how to find the average rate of change between x = 2 and x = 5. (10 points) G
levacccp [35]
First we need to find f(2) and f(5), which are 5 and 11 respectively; all you have to do is plug in 2 and 5.

Then, we use the following formula:

(f(b)-f(a))/(b-a),

where b and a are the largest and smallest x values respectively.

Finally, we plug our values in:

(11-5)/(5-2)=6/3=2

In fact, the average rate of change of any linear function is just the coefficient of the x term. Hope this helped!
