The equation
Joy's money = 7 + 4x
Steve's money = 12 + 3x

Find the same amount of hours
Joy's money = Steve money
7 + 4x = 12 + 3x
4x - 3x = 12 - 7
x = 5
They will earn the same amount of money if they work for 5 hours.

Find how much money
money = 7 + 4x
money = 7 + 4(5)
money = 27
They get the same amount of $27

29/12 + 23/6 + 11/3 - 5 / 12
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

57/6 or 9 1/2.

Step-by-step explanation:

The lowest common denominator is 12 so we convert the fractions to denominator 12:

29/12 + 23/6 + 11/3 - 5 / 12

= 29/12 + 46/12 + 44/12 - 5/12

= 114/12

= 57/6

or 9 1/2

Quick algebra 1 question for 50 points!
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

Yes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Yes, the given line can be used to make reasonable predictions of the number of cheese pizzas that will be sold, since the scatter points clearly show a trend.

As time goes on, the number of pizzas sold is getting bigger, and the trend is what created the line.

The data was taken over 8 consecutive weeks, so we can assume that it can be used in our prediction.

Since the trend has been pretty consistent over periods of time, we can expect it to continue in the upcoming weeks.
