Calculate the percentage increase,work out the difference (increase) between the two numbers you are comparing. Then divide the increase by the original number and multiply the answer by 100.

520-500 = 20
20÷500 =.04
.04 ×100= 4%

The angles with measures (5x + 4y)º and 74º are congruent because they form a pair of alternate interior angles between the parallel horizontal bars, so

5x + 4y = 74

The other two labeled angles are also congruent because they are corresponding interior angles that occur between the parallel vertical bars, so

20x + 4y = 164

Then

(20x + 4y) - (5x + 4y) = 164 - 74

(20x - 5x) + (4y - 4y) = 90

15x = 90

x = 6

which means

5*6 + 4y = 74

4y = 44

y = 11

90 degrees to radian
insens350 [35]

To convert degrees to radians  multiply degrees by pi/180.

So 90 degrees = 90pi/180  = pi/2 radians   or  1.57 radians to the nearest hundredth.

A wheel of 0.5 m radius rolls without slipping on a horizontal surface. The axle of the wheel advances at constant velocity, mov
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

\omega = 8\,\frac{rad}{s}

Step-by-step explanation:

The translation speed of the wheel is:

v=\frac{20\,m}{5\,s}

v=4\,\frac{m}{s}

The angular speed of the wheel is:

\omega = \frac{4\,\frac{m}{s} }{0.5\,m}

\omega = 8\,\frac{rad}{s}
