Divide 60/3 so you get 20. So take 20x17.3 and you should get 346m∧2

The area of any triangle is (1/2) x (length of the base) x (height) .

In this problem, we know the triangle's height,
but what is the length of the base ?

The base is the side that the triangle is sitting on. This particular triangle
is an equilateral one, and its perimeter is 60m. So each side must be 20m.
No matter which side the triangle is sitting on, the length of the base is 20m.

           Area = (1/2) x (base) x (height)

           Area = (1/2) x (20m) x (17.3m) =  173 m²

Find the points of intersection of the following function graphs: y=14−2.5x and y=1.5x−18 PLEASE HELP ONLY HAVE 20 MINUTES
Korolek [52]

Answer:x=8 Y=-6

Step-by-step explanation:

14-2.5x=1.5x-18

+18. +18

32-2.5x=1.5x

+2.5x =2.5x

32= 4x

Divide 4 to both sides you get

8=x

Y=14-2.5(8)

Y=14-20

Y=-6

The graph shows a distribution of data.
mestny [16]

Answer: The variance of the data is 0.25, therefore second option is correct.

Explanation:

From the given graph it is noticed that the graph is symmetric along x = 4 or it is a bell shaped graph. So, the data follows the normal distribution.

The graph of normal distribution is bell shaped graph symmetric along the mean. The graph of normal distribution is shown below.

Since the given graph is symmetric along x = 4 therefore the mean of the data is 4.

Let the variance be \sigma ^2. So, the given data follows normal distribution with mean 4 and variance \sigma ^2.

In the below graph the point immediate left to the mean is \mu-\sigma and in the given graph it 3.5

\mu-\sigma=3.5

4-\sigma=3.5

\sigma=0.5

\sigma^2=0.25

Therefore, the variance of the data is 0.25, therefore second option is correct.
