The Width is 2 1/4, 2.25 :) Explanation: *You have to divide the area by the given number* (Important rule) So you have to do 7 7/8 divided by 3 1/2, to do that, turn both whole number fractions into improper, once you did that, you change the division sign to Multiplication, then you flip the Second fraction, then multiply Straight across.
