Having more police around would decrease the crime rates because the criminals would either be scared of getting caught or would attempt and get caught.

I believe the answer is: D. City residents will support mayoral candidates who propose increasing the size of the police force.

By increasing the size of police force, more people would be eligible to conduct a patrol in the neighbourhood. This would make people much less likely to conduct criminal activities and people in the neighbourhood would feel much safer to live in that area.

Tema [17]

Answer:

45%

Explanation:

The market for good x is initially in equilibrium at $5. the government then places a per-unit tax on good x, as shown by the shift of s1 to s2.

As a result of the shift in the supply curve a new equilibrium price is established at $6.25

That implies that the share of the burden that consumers will bear is $1.25 (which represents 55% portion of the tax) - the difference between the previous and new equilibrium prices.

The other 45% portion of the tax will be borne by the producers

Sloan [31]

If, in the market for money, the amount of money supplied exceeds the amount of money households and businesses want to hold, the interest rate will rise, causing households and businesses to hold less money.

Option A

Explanation:

Fiscal policy is the central bank's macroeconomic policy. This covers the supply of money and interest rate control and is also the demand-side economic strategy of a country's government for achieving macroeconomic targets such as inflation, investment, productivity, and liquidity.

If the required quantity is above the amount given, people sell the property to obtain money like bonds. It leads to an increase in bond supply, a drop in bond prices and a higher market interest rate. If the volume supplied meets the necessary number, capital is increasing by purchasing a certain property, such as bonds.

The supply of money meets the demand for money, and the real rate of interest is higher than the number of equilibrium.
