Ibn Batuta was born in Morocco. He came from an educated family. Ibn was motivated to travel on a quest to learn more from different libraries and educators that he hoped he could meet. He also had a lot of dreams to pursue. He was unlikely of any other travelers who had their caravan, he traveled alone. Eventually, he learned a lot and had a meaningful travel through meeting people and even having marriages. It was during his stay in Alexandria where he was prophesized to go to India. He traveled to India by crossing Afghanistan with a group. While in Delhi they met bandits whom they fought. Because of his success and courage, the King of India appointed him as ambassador.

The general borders were set by the Indian Intercourse Act of 1834. The territory was located in the Central United States.
