Native species can be defined as the fauna and flora that has origin without any intervention of human in a particular area. Non-native species are introduced in specific locations by human activities and can become pervasive or invasive sometimes to the environment.

Australia has the major count of native species with nearly of 400 mammals and 140 marsupial species. Few of the native species of Australia are namely Australian Giant Cuttlefish, Bandicoot, Bottlenose dolphin, Galah, Quokka, etc.,

Mammals are those vertebrate species that has warm-blood and mammary glands while marsupials are the type of mammals but the younger ones are born with partial development and they are grown in a pouch in their mother's belly.
