For example: 35 divided by 5 is 7. So to check with multiplication, just think 7 times 5 is what? 35. This is the same formula for everything.

Answer: To check the division problem , there are steps

Step 1. First perform the division problem.


Step 2. Multiply the quotient and the divisor.


Step 3. Add the remainder to the product of quotient and divisor.


Step 4. The final answer should be equal to the dividend.

For example to divide 65 by 2

Here, Dividend=65 , Divisor=2

After perform division, we get Quotient=32 and remainder=1

To check:-

32×2+1=64+1=65→ Dividend
