If i was Kerri's friend, I would give her the following advice.

Explanation:

I would advice Kerri to definitely go to the college because:

 • pursuing a degree would allow her to advance in the field
 • nontraditional college students have much to add to the classroom

I would ask her to join the college, because there is no age limit to learn new things and if it is mandatory to join a college to learn things and attain a degree, there shouldn't be any shame in it, rather getting a degree would help her a lot in the advancement of her career.

Secondly when non traditional students join the college, they have much more to share with the students who do not have practical life experience of that particular field, and in this way non traditional students can also help the regular students in the better understanding of the studies.

What is halo effect?

The halo effect refers to a consumer's preference for a line of products because of previous positive experiences with this manufacturer's products. The halo effect is associated with brand strength, brand loyalty, and brand equity.

The halo effect occurs when you judge a person's qualities by other unrelated, usually physical, qualities, as the name suggests.
