We know, the work done is given by W = Force*Displacement. Here, work is being done in lifting the object by applying the force = change in potential energy i.e. W = mgh = 6 kg * 9.8 m/s^2* 10 m = 588 Joules.

The correct answer to the question is 588 Joule i.e the work done by the force on the box is 588 Joule.

CALCULATION:

As per the question, the mass of the box m = 6.0 kg.

The upward displacement of the box is 10.00 m.

Hence, the height of the box h = 10 .00 m.

We are asked to calculate the work done by the force on the box.

When the upward force was applied to the box, the box moves up to a height of 10.00 m. Hence, the work done by the ball is nothing else than the potential energy gained by the ball.

The potential energy gained by the ball is calculated as -

                                       Potential energy P.E = mgh

                                                                          = 6 × 9.8 × 10 Joule

                                                                         = 588 Joule.

Here, g is known as the acceleration due to gravity and its value is 9.8\ m/s^2.

Joule is the unit of energy.

We know that work done W = Potential energy gain.

Hence, the work done by the force on the box is 588 Joule.

Many arlines restrict maximum mass of a case to 23 kg why
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

weight

Explanation:

the weight of an object on an airline is one of the most important thing a pilot has to consider when prepping a flight and that is because if there is too much weight then the plane simply can't fly. imagine if everyone wanted to bring a 50 kg box. there are at least 200 people. that alone is 10,000 lg of weight than you have to factor in all the people, wires on the plane, and certain appliances that some planes have.

If the current flowing through a circuit of constant resistance is doubled, the power dissipated by that circuit will Group of a
Artist 52 [7]

Answer:

P' = 4 P

Therefore, the power dissipated by the circuit will becomes four times of its initial value.

Explanation:

The power dissipation by an electrical circuit is given by the following formula:

Power Dissipation = (Voltage)(Current)

P = VI

but, from Ohm's Law, we know that:

Voltage = (Current)(Resistance)

V = IR

Substituting this in formula of power:

P = (IR)(I)

P = I²R   ---------------- equation 1

Now, if we double the current , then the power dissipated by that circuit will be:

P' = I'²R

where,

I' = 2 I

Therefore,

P' = (2 I)²R

P' = 4 I²R

using equation 1

P' = 4 P

Therefore, the power dissipated by the circuit will becomes four times of its initial value.

If the torque required to loosen a nut that is holding a flat tire in place on a car has a magnitude of 33 N · m, what minimum f
Setler [38]

Answer:

The minimum force that must be exerted by the mechanic at the end of a 30 cm-long wrench to loosen the nut is 110N

Explanation:

Torque = Fd sin θ

For a torque, the minimum force must be applied perpendicular to the lever arm, so that θ = 90° and sin θ = sin 90° = 1

Torque = 33 N.m

F = Force applied = ?

d = 30 cm = 0.3 m

F = Torque/d = 33/0.3 = 110 N
