Answer:

D) Cerebral Cortex

Explanation:

Cerebral Cortex is the most highly developed part of the human brain and is responsible for thinking, perceiving, producing and understanding languages. Most information processing occurs in the cerebral cortex. The cerebral cortex is divided into four sections, called "lobes" which are the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, and temporal lobe which are responsible for processing different types of sensory information.

nadya68 [22]
Power is the rate work done given by dividing work done by unit time. It is measured in watts equivalent to J/s.
In this case the force by the student is mg = 490 N (taking g as 9.8m/s²)
Work done is given by force × distance,
Therefore, Power =(force × distance)/ time, but velocity/speed =distance/time
Thus, Power = force × speed/velocity
                     = 490 N × 1.25
                     = 612.5 J/S (Watts)
Hence, power will be 612.5 Watts.

What is the relationship between amplitude and volume?
MrRissso [65]

Answer:

Explanation:

The sound moves in the form of waves. The amplitude is the distance between the highest and the lowest point of a wave. In this way the amplitude indicates the amount of energy that a sound signal contains.

Intensity is the amount of acoustic energy that a sound contains. Intensity is measured in decibels. Volume is a measure of the energy that a signal carries, being a magnitude of intensity.

In this way it is possible to say that the energy of a signal is closely related to its amplitude, but its development over time is also important.

The tone or height is the quality that distinguishes between a high or low sound and a low or high sound.
