Answer b

Step-by-step explanation:

the answer is b becasue on tuesday you deliver 18 then you now have 222 cases on tuesday and on wednesday you have 204 now because you delivered 18 then on thursday you now have 186 because you delivered 18 and alltogether you delivered 54 cases in three days so 240 minus 54 equals 186 because each day you deliver 18 and 18 times 3 is 54 so 54 minus 240 eguals 186 and 186 plus 18 is 204 and 204 plus 18 is 222 so b would be the correct answer

How do you factor this equation?
7x²+5x-3
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a quadratic expression. Use the quadratic formula to find the roots, and then once you have the roots, write the corresponding factors.

The coefficients of this quadratic expression are a = 7, b = 5 and c = -3

The discriminant is b^2 - 4ac, or 5^ - 4(7)(-3), or 25 + 84 = 109. Because this is positive, we know that the expression has two unequal, real roots.

Using the quadratic formula, we now find these roots:

      -b ± √(discriminant)

x = --------------------------------   which here is:

                   2a

      -5 ± √109

x = -----------------

             14

The factors can be found from these two roots. The first one is

      -5 - √109                  5 + √109

(x - ---------------- )  =  (x + ---------------- )

             14                              14

and the second is

        5 - √109

(x + ---------------- )

             14

Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

s = (14 + 7 + 11)/2 = 32/2 =16

=> area = sqrt(16*(16-14)*(16-11)*(16-7)) = ~37.95

=> h = 2*Area/Base = 2*37.95/14 = 5.42

The average score of all golfers for a particular course has a mean of 64 and a standard deviation of 3. Suppose 36 golfers play
kondaur [170]

Answer:

the probability that the exceeded 65 = 0.3707

The average score of the 36 golfers exceeded 65

                        = 36 X 0.3707 = 13.3452

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:-

The average score of all golfers for a particular course has a mean of 64 and a standard deviation of 3.

mean (μ) = 64

standard deviation (σ) =3

by using normal distribution

given (μ) = 64 and  (σ) =3

i) when x =65

z = \frac{x-mean}{S.D} = \frac{65-64}{3} = 0.33 >0

P( X≥ 65) = P(z≥0.33)

              = 0.5 - A(z₁)

              = 0.5 - 0.1293 (see normal table)

             = 0.3707

The average score of the 36 golfers exceeded 65

                        = 36 X 0.3707 = 13.3452
