Answer:

B) harvest photons and transfer light energy to the reaction-center chlorophyll

Explanation:

The antenna pigment molecules form a complex which is known as the light-harvesting complex.

There are three antenna pigment molecules present in plants :

1. chlorophyll b

2. xanthophylls

3. carotenes

In one complex there can be 250 - 400 pigment molecules present which acts collectively to absorb energy and transfer it to the reaction center which consists of the chlorophyll.

This reaction center is responsible for capturing light energy in the form of chemical bonds.

Suppose a particular glacier covers 100 km^2, and it loses 30 cm of depth in a decade. Approximately what volume (km^3 ) is lost
meriva

Answer:

0.03 km^3

Explanation:

First convert the 30 centimeters into kilometers. This will give you 0.0003 km because 1 km is 100,000 cm. Next multiply 100km^2 by 0.0003km which will give you your answer or 0.03 km^3.

A bird species in danger of extinction has a population that is decreasing exponentially (Upper A equals Upper A 0 e Superscript
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

After 14 years the population of these birds reached to 300.

Explanation:

The main reason for the extinction or decrease in population of these birds are over hunting or the introduction of invasive species in the ecosystem. Due to over hunting by humans many beneficial species are extinct which causes imbalance in the ecosystem which can't be corrected. These population should be increased by providing a suitable environment to these birds.
