Mark was making a ramp for handicapped people. The board he used was 26 feet long. From the bottom of the curb to the bottom of the ramp was 24 feet. How tall is ramp suppose to be?

A^2 + B^2 = C^2
A^2 + 24^2 = 26^2
A^2 + 576 = 676
A^2 + 576 - 576 = 676 - 576
A^2 + 0 = 100
100 square rooted = 10
The Ramp is 10 feet tall.

( I think I made the ramp too tall)

The sum of three consecutive odd numbers is 69. What are the three numbers?
n200080 [17]

Answer:

21, 23, 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, so this one may seem a little tricky, so I'll try to explain it as best as I can. :)

So because they are consecutive odd numbers, that means they are odd numbers that are one after the other. This means each number is 2 apart from the next. So by using this, we know that there is a difference of 6 between the highest and lowest number. Now let's try and make an equation:

3o + 6 = 69

Now in order to get O by itself we have to subtract 6 from both sides:

3o = 63

Now we just have to divide by three on both sides:

o = 21

So now, we know that the lowest number is 21, but we have to add 2 to get 23, and then another 2 to get 25.

Hope this helps :)

3y-4x=3 find the rate of change for each function above Which function has the greatest rate of change?does any pair of function
pishuonlain [190]

Answer:

4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Sounds as though this problem presented several rates of change, but you have shared only one:  3y - 4x = 3.  If we take x to be the independent variable, then 3y = 4x + 3, and y = (4/3)x + 1.  The rate of change of this function (the rate of change of y with respect to x) is therefore 4/3.

Math help will give brainliest what is X and M angle A
Anna [14]
Supplementary = 180 degrees...

A + B = 180

3x + 12 + 7x + 38 = 180

10x + 50 = 180

10 x = 130

x = 13

To find the A just substitute x in...

3 ( 13) + 12

A = 51

To check substitute the x..

A + B = 180

3(13) + 12 + 7(13) + 38 = 180
        51 + 129 = 180
            180 = 180
