We have a right angled triangle   with base 60 and hypotenuse 61

so opposite side = sqrt (61^2 - 60^2)  =   sqrt121 = 11 feet

so the wire should be 24 feet high on one pole and 35 feet high on the other.

If f(x) = x + 7 and g(x)=1/x, what is (f o g)(x)?
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer: 1/x + 7

Step-by-step explanation: you plug the function g(x) into the function f(x) .. substitue g(x) for the x in f(x)

G(x) = 1/x , so you plug that in the x of f(x) and get 1/x + 7
