Answer:

Option: C is the correct answer.

             C. y=x

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given a set of data values as:

       Height(in.) Arm span(in.)

           42 41

           45 43

           52 55

           48 49

           49 49

           53 52

           59 60

           45 44

           44 45

           60 67

on plotting these points we see that the line that best represent these data points is a linear graph and the equation of the line of best fit is:

                                y=x

I think the answer is C because there isn't really a pattern, it's increasing then decreasing then increasing and decreasing and so on. So if you do find a pattern then it wouldn't be C for sure, but since there is no pattern I'm going for C.
Hope that's right. .-.

What is the first quartile, Q1, of the following distribution?
Nostrana [21]

Answer:

I would go with C only because you have the find the median of the lower half of the data set This means that about 25% of the numbers in the data set lie below Q1 and about 75% lie above Q1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Lower quartile (xL): 26.5

Median (xm): 37

Upper quartile (xU): 44.5
