Answer: Kilogram- newton is wrong unit for Torque

Idem pound-inch is also wrong unit for Torque

Explanation: As it is well known the torque is defined as :

Τorque= F x R

so its UNITS are Newton*meter (SI)

or in the Imperial System is often use  Pound-foot

What is a neutron start?
nataly862011 [7]

neutron star is formed when the core of a star, that was one ginormous, collapse on its own mass thus it loses it's volume exponentially (y=a^x) while the mass of the star decreases linearly (y=mx+c) thus the neutron star has mass of 10 to 29 sun in the radius of 10 km( for scale earth has 6731 km) thus it's density is super high!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hope it helps you! ;)

convert watts to hpThe headlights of a moving car draw about 9 A from the 12 V alternator, which is driven by the engine. Assume
iVinArrow [24]

Answer: 0.17hp

Explanation:

Power output = power input × 85%

Power output = power input × 0.85

Power input = IV/0.85

Power input = 9×12/0.85

Power input = 108/0.85

= 127.058 watts

Converting to horse power = 127.058W × 1horse power/745.7W

= 127.058 × 0.001341

= 0.17hp

Refrigerant 134a enters an air conditioner compressor at 4 bar, 20°C, and is compressed at steady state to 12 bar, 80°C. The vol
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

The magnitude of the heat transfer rate from the compressor is 87.05 kW

Explanation:

Initial pressure of refrigerant = 4 bar

Final pressure of refrigerant = 12 bar

From steam table,

Internal energy at 4 bar (U1) = 2554 kJ/kg

Internal energy at 12 bar (U2) = 2588 kJ/kg

Change in internal energy (∆U) = U2 - U1 = 2588 - 2554 = 34 kJ

Work input (W) = 120 kJ/kg

Quantity of heat transfer (Q) = ∆U + W = 34 + 120 = 154 kJ/kg

Volumetric flow rate of refrigerant = 8 m^3/min = 8/60 = 0.133 m^3/s

Density of refrigerant = 4.25 kg/m^3

Mass flow rate = density × volumetric flow rate = 4.25 kg/m^3 × 0.133 m^3/s = 0.56525 kg/s

Q = 154 kJ/kg × 0.56525 kg/s = 87.05 kJ/s = 87.05 kW
