that is the order in solving an equation
example: (#^2 means squared)

x^2 + 18x + 81 + 2x + 4 = 1
x^2 + 20x + 85 = 1
subtract 1
x^2 + 20x + 84
then you would finish it. it’s a bad example. but that’s how you do it.
