The mean is where the middle of the graph is, the St deviation is a measure of the variation in your data, so the one that's more dispersed is the one with more variation, or the one with the higher standard deviation.
So mean of 3 and St deviation of 24 has more variation
because a variation of 24 is greater than a variation of 3

How much money will you have if you started with $30 and put it in an account that earned 11% every year for 5 years?
Elis [28]
At the end of each year, the amount is (1 + 11%) = 1.11 times the amount at the beginning of the year. When that multiplier is applied 5 times, the result is
  $30 * 1.11^5 ≈ $50.55

Tell how to multiply two fractions give an example
mario62 [17]
Ex 1:
2/5 x 4/5
Multiply both the numerators together and then multiply both the denominators together. You would multiply 2x4 which is 8 and 5x5 which is 25. Which leaves you with 8/25 and it will stay that way because you cannot simplify it further.

Ex 2:
2/5 and 5/3
Multiply across 2x5/5x3 and you end up with 10/15 which can be simplified/reduced to 2/3 because they share a common factor of 5.

Translate the given phrase into an algebraic expression and simplify if possible: the product of -13 and the difference of c
Musya8 [376]

Answer:  -13c+13d

Step-by-step explanation:

For this exercise it is important to remember the following:

1. By definition, the "Product" is the result of a multiplication.

2. The "Difference" is defined as the result of a subtraction.

3. The Distributive property states that:

a(b+c)=ab+ac\\\\a(b-c)=ab-ac

Keeping the above on mind, you know that:

"The difference of c and d" can be represented with the following expression:

c-d

Therefore, "The product of -13 and the difference of c and d" can be represented with this expression:

-13(c-d)

Finally, you must apply the Distributive property in order to simplify the expression. You get:

=-13c+13d
