A painting is purchased for $350. If the value of the painting doubles every 5 years, then its value is given by the function V(

t) = 350 ⋅ 2t/5, where t is the number of years since it was purchased and V(t) is its value (in dollars) at that time. What is the value of the painting ten years after its purchase?

Hello!

You put 10 in for t

V(10) = 350 * 2(10)/5

Combine like terms

V(10) = 350 * 20/5

V(10) = 350 * 4

V(10) = 1400

The answer is 1,400

Hope this helps!

U will be made brainiest if this answer is right
Daniel [21]

Answer:

x= -7

Step by Step Explanation:

We can write them both like functions like this

A= 5x- 4

B= 3x+ 8

The output of A will be three times the output of B

A=3b

We replace with the functions

5x-4= 3

We solve for x

5x= -4= 9x + 24

5x- 9x= 24 + 4

-4x= 28

x= 28 - 4

x= -7

The output that makes the out put of A 3 times the output of B is -7

Hope it helped

Fill in the table using this function rule. y=-3x-3
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

When x = -2, y = 3

When x = -1, y = 0

When x = 0, y = -3

When x = 1, y = -6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

y = -3x - 3

Fill in the table using the following value for x

When x = -2

y = -3x - 3

y = -3(-2) - 3

y = 6 - 3

y = 3

When x = -2, y = 3

When x = -1

y = -3x - 3

y = -3(-1) - 3

y = 3 - 3

y = 0

When x = -1, y = 0

When x = 0

y = -3x - 3

y = -3(0) - 3

y = 0 - 3

y = -3

When x = 0, y = -3

When x = 1

y = -3x - 3

y = -3(1) - 3

y = -3 - 3

y = -6

When x = 1, y = -6
